Who had the pleasure to visit San Gimignano, had surely seen the sweet landscape of the hills just around. And it's exactly on the top of one of those hills, closed to touch its magnificent towers, that you can find Torre Prima farm. In the best tuscan tradition, also Torre Prima hides his history.

It is not so simple to find out its real age, it was already established in 1823, year of the first catastal register.

Some sources indicate the presence of Duke Amedeo d'Aosta since 1867 by Torre Prima farm, where he loved to spend a lot of his free time hunting.

Still today, surrounded by olive tree groves, vineyards, secular oaks and junipers, the hunt shed keeps the suggestion of the past.

Around 1970 Pollina's family, emigrated from Sicily, bought the rural home and part of its fields. By passing of time and after lot of costs and hard sacrifices, all old stables of the animals and sheds have been reorganized. Later they bought other fields, managing in 1996 the complex into the agritouristical structure you can see today.
